Yukon First Nation Language Resources
All of us share the responsibility of reconciliation.
Language revitalization is essential in this work because First Nations’ languages are essential to local cultures.
These resources are for all Educators, families, and people who understand their role, responsibilities, and privilege of learning on - and from - these lands.
First Voices is an online space for specific communities to manage and maintain language resources.
Yukon’s Native Language Centre is the primary location for language resources.
Everywhere in Yukon had a name before contact and colonization. Learn and use proper placenames.
